Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This marks the second year that Midland Air has participated in this wonderful event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this amazing cause and the nationwide event has raised over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s motorcycle group gets involved every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t exactly a motorcycle group. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and helping with great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, click on their site.
