Furnace Repair

Expert Furnace Repair by Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning

Managing year-round contentment shouldn’t be something that you have to fret about every time you switch between your air conditioner and furnace as the temperatures vary. While you certainly don’t want to have to even think about the possibility of your furnace stopping in the center of winter, it can be a realistic possibility with every passing year – especially if you’re not keeping up with annual furnace service.

At Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning, we realize that having the make a call in the middle of the night, on one of the coldest nights in Salt Lake City isn’t on any list of to-dos that you have, but it’s important to note that we should be your first call. Regardless of the hour, the team at Service Experts has a NATE-certified technician available 24/7/365 to be there in your time of need. We can help get your furnace back up and running so everything can get back to normal and you can start enjoying the comforts of your space once again.

Regardless of the make, model or age of your furnace, we have the proficiency required to get your system back up and running immediately and correctly, the first time. We equate the repair process to having a doctor do a checkup, find a diagnosis and then work to align the complication.

However, before giving us a call, there are a few clues that you should memorize:

  • Is your thermostat set to “heat”? – when the weather finally turns and it is time to turn on your furnace, it’s common to forget to flip the switch over to “heat” for the cold weather. And believe it or not, it’s more normal than you’d predict. Do a quick check to make sure yours is set precisely.
  • Furnace switch – it looks like a normal light switch, but it controls your furnace. It should be in the Up, or On, position. Once On, your furnace won’t start up right away, but does turn on in a couple minutes as there are built-in delays in most systems.
  • Furnace filter – filters are often forgotten about, but are one of the largest culprits when it comes to inefficient service and poor performance for your furnace. Make sure you transition your filter every one to three months to have greater performance.
  • Circuit breaker – if your furnace is not working, check the emergency shut off and your breaker. Cycle it by switching them off, then on again. If the system still doesn’t work, call us to help you resolve the source of the matter.

*If you notice a strong gas smell, call Service Experts immediately.
