Sales Training
The sales training is comprised of:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes yearly.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their area.
  • Two (2) different sales programs offered for General Managers twice a year, totaling 4.5 training days, focusing on sales culture and day-to-day sales leadership.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians is comprised of:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training in spring and fall
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection annually
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ in the spring and fall
  • Continuous NATE certification and specialty programs as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional education through the use of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc programs to better offer a complete education to our technical workforce.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Semiannually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to provide support, resources, and structure for operating a business from the P&L perspective.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Semiannually, perform outbound calling over a one (1) day course. In this course we go over heating and cooling industry basics, what drives people to purchase, calling procedures, scripts, customer buying indicators, and overcoming customer objections.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training given. On the job training conducted by the General Manager and appropriate staff at center level.
